BALDWIN's UNIVERSAL STRIKE, BRIGHT BRASS is used to hold down flat doors when hanging a hinge-side out. The winged column has a lip that allows the plated strike to rest on edge of any size door.

Our UNIVERSAL STRIKE is designed for use in applications where a strike box containing an ANSI standard 1-7/8" square lockbox (as shown in the picture below) is already installed. The two domed screws hold this lockbox securely to the back of the adjacent door or deadbolt. Our improved cylinder cover and special lockdown bar design protect your cylinder against tampering during off hours. The improved handle design makes for smoother, easier opening and closing of your strike box; over time, you will find that Baldwin hardware outlasts other brands.

Hard-wearing brass material for a traditional look and feel. Universal strike to fit 1/4" (max) diameter latch bolt or dead bolts.
