Our DEADLATCH® 238 SQU model is a high security deadlatch for use with Schlage A Series 110860, 110861, 110862, 110866, 111040 and 111041. This particular model number is used on single latch side swinging doors (00-45) and deadlocksets on double latch, light commercial wood doors (00-46 double).

The Schlage A Series Deadlatch Lock is designed for Residential use on the exterior of a door that is protected from the weather. This unit comes complete with the lock body, two rotating steel deadbolts and an emergency key.

The Schlage A series deadlatch is an ideal choice for deadbolting all types of doors. This series features a 1-inch throw latch which ensures the door is shut in case of an attempted break in. Made of heavy duty solid brass, this deadlatch can be mounted to doors with 1-3/8 inch to 3-1/8 inch backset. The square corner strike is recommended for use with this latch.

The Schlage A series delivers in every aspect. At the core of the series is the 11-120 Xtended jamb design, along with the 11-030 Cold Finish latch body which together deliver a new level of security and aesthetics to any door.

The Schlage A series deadbolt comes in brushed nickel and satin nickel finish options. It features ease of use and security with keyed locks on both sides and a 2-3/8 inch backset. Comes standard with Anti-pick shield, bump guard, easy change battery pack designed for serviceable access and convenience which is stored in the deadlatch and also available in an adjustable backset for a more custom fit.

Our deadbolt lock is a Grade 1 entry and exit device featuring ANSI Grade 1 approval. It is designed to deadlock to the door frame upon closing, preventing the door from being opened or forced. The 626 Series Deadlatch has been approved for 3 lever function on heavy-duty doors.
