It has a 24V heat/cool, heat only or heat pump digital set back thermostat that can be programmed for different temperature settings in off, cooling and heating modes and can be set up for vacation or temporary programs. Its fan on/off switch also allows homeowners to bypass the air handler and directly control the fan output.
Set-back thermostats are designed for use with heating and cooling equipment that have two stage type heating systems. Set-back thermostats provide manual on/off non programmable control of the heat and cool stages. They are also suitable for control of a single-stage heat pump or air conditioning system.
