The American Standard ARU109SS Flash is a rough-in shower valve with universal outlets that come with a tightening lock-out feature and two wrench flats that are designed for the proper installation of CPVC. The electronic Universal Rough valve has an adjustable temp limiting stop and comes with a CPVC bonnet, washer, and diaphragm as installation hardware. This Flash series water control is a combination of nine features including six settings: On/Off; Temp./On; Temp./Off/On; Temp./Temp.; Both On Demand and Modulating. A total of 20 optional features listed below are also available

The Rough-In Valve installs in the wall to provide a connection between a plumbing supply line and the showerhead or handshower. The valve is secured to the wall with either plastic anchors or supplied screws. This valve has an offset screwdriver adjustment to easily tighten and loosen.

This rough-in valve is well designed and well built. It's available in both polished chrome or satin nickel, allowing you to match it to the finish of your tub or shower. There's nothing complicated about this product: just a way to bring water into an existing tub or shower and turn on both hot and cold water valves simultaneously.
