The Amercan Standard Flash Valve Rough-in with PRX Inlet Elbows and Universal Outlets w/Screwdriver Stops for Cold Expansion System features a rugged, durable PEX barrier that resists punctures and never requires priming. A brass spud is attached to the valve, allowing it to be screwed directly into Moen shower valves with integral supply lines. The spud also fits Chater Lea, Grohe and Delta shower valves.

The PRX™ rough in Valve is the only choice for new construction when high flow performance is needed. The 1/2 in. female NPT outlet directly outlets to copper or PEX coming into the finished basement, with no additional back flow devices required. The Outlet Elbows also outlet to p-trap configuration and PRX valves can be installed splice in a continuous piping situation. All American Standard PRX™ valves are NSF 61 certified by Pentair Valves & Controls, and exceed all standards mandated by the UPC or ASME, and by local codes administered nationally.

The Rough-in Valve provides an economical solution for converting from a conventional cold water system to a low-flow energy saving hot water system using PEX inlet pipe. The QuickPort access allows for the flexible installation and removal of tub and shower faucet assemblies.

This rough-in valve and two PEX inlet/outlet elbows with universal outlets are designed to be used exclusively with the PRX Expansion System. It is compatible with cold water installation only.

Our rough-in valve set is designed to mount over your desired finished sink or vessel, and can accommodate the water supply coming in from either side of the valve. Crafted from top-quality materials and packed with convenience features, the set includes rough-in valves, brass female supply stop fittings, nickel male supply stop fittings with adjustable screwdriver stops for cold expansion systems, two 1/2" PRX elbow fittings with universal outlets, and installation instructions.

The American Standard ARU107ESS Flash Shower Rough-in Valve with PRX Inlet Elbows and Universal Outlets with Screwdriver Stops for Cold Expansion System is a part of the American Standard Cold Expansion System Plumbing Kit. It features 1/2" copper tubing connections, and a thermoplastic supply inlet elbow. The rough-in valve has universal outlets, and includes a PRX inlet elbow.
