The R116SS is a 2.0 gpf rough valve body, with an integral diverter and female thread x IPS rough valves. The R116SS is incompatible with American Standard 462TR rough valves; however American Standard develops new products to work in combination with the R116.

The R116SS pressure balancing rough valve with integral diverter features an innovative body that mounts directly to the supply plumbing. With this design, the diverter is easily accessible without having to go through the wall. The highly-efficient flow control and one piece brass construction will last for years of reliable service.

The R116SS Pressure Balance Rough Valve features an integral diverter at the rear to allow for simultaneous shower and tub faucet use.  This valve with a rough-in is not compatible with a cold water pipe.
