A HART® or DeviceNet® to P15 industrial devices many times require the user to select the output to be 0 or 15 volts before outputting any data. To eliminate this extra step, ACI has designed the PXP2.3FS Digital to Analog Converter Module. The ACI PXP2.3FS device will allow the user to send out a 0 or 15 volt signal directly from the HART network interface. The ACI PXP2.3FS power supply provides true 0/15VDC output with digital ammeter, high/low voltage and full scale current with frequency capability. Features include an 85VDC maximum operating voltage, current sensing of 0.4A full scale or 4A peak, a programmable time delay of 0-10 minutes, undervoltage shutdown capability, PS indicator alarm for low input power and more. Designed to withstand rugged industrial environments, the PXP2.3FS is completely encapsulated in epoxy to help protect internal components from harsh factory environments

The PXP-2 is a two channel (dual path) isolator, combining the isolation and surge protection needs of an Ethernet switch. The PXP2 also integrates with our NFP4 Fiber Optic Isolator using the RS232 or RS485 ports on the rear of the device.

The ACI {ACI} PXP is a field selectable proportional controller with fast acting fail safe. When an error occurs, such as under voltage , loss of current sense or over temperature , the output will automatically move to zero (fail safe) position. The Fail Safe will remain there until the error condition is released and then return to configured output setting. This controller can be used on a wide variety of applications from small battery chargers to electric utility applications.
