It is specifically designed for RS232/422/485 devices connected to Ethernet switches, routers and other network equipment.

The LES422A is a two RS-232/422/485 port server. It supports connection to up to four terminals at the same time, and can be placed as master or slave. Connection between the serial ports can be made via a terminal cable (25 pin D-type male each end) or via multimedia type communication cables.
