Our Brownie Toffee Crunch Gourmet Coffee is produced at our farm in the small town of Santa Maria Del Oro just outside Arequipa, Peru. Our family's highly sustainable coffee operation was co-developed with the local Quechua farmers, and is certified as Socially and Environmentally Responsible Coffee (SERCtm) by the Rainforest Alliance.

Brownie Toffee Crunch is a combination of being organically-grown, providing adequate shade and shelter to birds and animals, and NO chemicals or herbicides were used in this coffee's cultivation.

We have stepped up our commitment to ethically source our coffee. To meet this demand, we have created the first Socially and Environmentally Responsible Coffee (SERC) farm in Sumatra. We've added a Brownie to every bag of Brownie Toffee Crunch Gourmet Coffee beginning in April 2014. It's a great way to enjoy your favorite coffee while also helping vulnerable populations in some of the world's most troubled areas.

Brownie Toffee Crunch Gourmet Coffee, Fair Trade Certified and Organically grown using sustainable methods. Our coffee is Shade Grown which means it grows under a canopy of trees rather than direct sunlight. This ensures adequate vegetation to sustain bird life. Socially Responsible Coffee TM is an integral part of this program by offering farmers living wages, proper work hours and health benefits for their families.

This is socially and environmentally responsible coffee. This, or other coffees in our SERC lineup, are grown under the SERC-structure. The shade of the other trees on the farm gives shelter to birds that would have otherwise likely not been there or anywhere else. It's more than shade; it's bird habitat.
