__ The Honeywell Purple Peeper Flame Sensor has a built-in UV flame sensor and an output relay that is rated for 120 Vac operation. It will detect the ultraviolet energy emitted by the flame through its optically clear quartz window and will energize the output relay to sound an alarm, activate a shutdown system, or open a valve. The high sensitivity of the sensor will reliably detect any flame.

The HONEYWELL 2056, UL rated, 120 Vac Flame Detector with 8 ft. leads, NEMA 4 3/4 in. clearance hole and NPT ground, is installed over the stove or open fire and has a 10 second time delay to eliminate nuisance alarms caused by cycles of the flame.
