The CARRIAGE KNOB2-1/4 D is a replacement knob. It is made of polycarbonate and has a diameter of 2-1/4 ". It comes with a 2-1/4 " shaft with a (M6 X 10) counter sunk self tapping screw, with an O-ring gasket seal.

The carriage knob is a spare part for a Berkel sausage stuffer. The knob mounts on the bottom of the standard hog casings spout and attaches to the carriage rod to automatically form casings. The carriage knob is 2-1/4"" in diameter and 1/2"" thick.

The knob on carriage assembly number 062-0022 was broken/lost so i searched for replacement. This was an automatic search & found Berkel part 37575. It is not, however, the correct one as it is 3/4" not 2-1/4". The outer diameter of the knob i need is about 1-3/16"; the Berkel part has a diameter of about 1-1/8". Also another difference; the Berkel part has an outside thread of 3/8" dia., whereas mine is 1/2" dia.

Gooseneck carriage knob is a replacement for Berkel Saws, and Waffel Saws. The carriage knob has an overall length of 2-7/8 inches, diameter of 1-13/32 inches, with a height of 3/4 inches and a base dia of 1-13/16 inches.

Sometimes you are forced to take an item back to the store where you purchased it from, and in order to escort the item out of the premises, a carriage knob is used to lift the item, and bring it inside of the store. This knob has a 2.125 inch diameter, which can generally fit most 500w or 550w motors in a Berkel slicer.
