The Genuine Hanson 6849 Tap Extraction Die is ideal for removing broken taps from threads up to 1-7/16" in diameter. It can also be used as a tap holding die to drive tapping screws into tapped holes. This 9/16"- 18 die is used with a 7/16"-18 shank and features a 1-7/16" nut sleeve.

This quality 6849 Die is made of durable hardened steel for use on 9/16-18 threads. It is 0.982" (25.20 mm) long and has 1.235" (31.20mm) total length (including bumpers).

The Vise-Grip Hanson 6849 Die Set 9/16" screw size, 1-7/16" hex shank, with the die and the extractor tool make for easy removal of broken tap threads.
