Defrost Timer for Glastender - Part# 06001397

This defrost timer is for use with a Series 40i or 50i Glastender beverage dispenser to defrost the head to the proper operating temperature. This timer should be used in conjunction with part# 06001359 Bar-32 Valve Assembly (1/4" MFL), and part# 06010753 DEFROST VALVE WIRING for use in a CO2 system. The electronic defrost timer gets plugged into the Ice Tank Connector located inside of the head, and connects directly to the tank. It will then run on its own internal battery when the ice machine is not dispensing.

The DEFROST TIMER for Glastender automatically turns off draft beer dispensers when the set temperature is reached. It includes a selectable timer switch and an electronic degassing relay to eliminate carbonation from kegs.

Refresh a wide variety of warmers and display cabinets, including Glastender Freez-Rite and MaxKold, with an extra hour(s) or two of cold. More time in the freezer means less food thawing and freezing while unattended. Our 24-hour defrost timers are ideal for boosting 12-volt systems up to 20 amps for several hours at a time. Depending upon the application, the 06001397 can be installed between the DIN rail power supply or directly on the control board.

The Defrost Timer for Glastender is designed to defrost a Glastender Dual-Zone Cooler unit in 30 minute increments.

The defrost timer controls the defrost cycle to prevent ice build-up within the unit. If you have had difficulty with defrosting and thawing of the unit this may be part# 06001397.
