FJC DyEstercool is a special oil additive that contains the universal fluorescent dye and is used when inspecting air conditioners. Ideal for use in R-12, R-134a, Mineral, Ester, Paraffin & PAG Oils. Can be detected using standard UV light.

FJC Dyestercool Oil - 1 Gallon is compatible with R12 & R134a, Mineral, Ester, Paraffin & PAG Oils and is packaged in a gallon.

FJC Universal Fluorescent Leak Detection Dye is a high performance dye for use in detecting refrigeration system leaks. It is compatible with mineral, ester, paraffin and PAG refrigerants. The detection window can be precisely controlled by changing the concentration of the dye solution.

FJC Dyestar Universal Oil Dye is a non-flammable, non-corrosive fluorescent dye designed to be added to refrigerant oils to aid in oil identification. The dye can be detected using standard UV light and therefore identifies leaks in a system. For Ester oil using R134a, R12 or mineral oil add 2 ounces per gallon of oil.

FJC Dyestercool® Oil dye is compatible with all common refrigerants, both new and old. Its bright fluorescent color can easily be detected using standard UV light without the need to dismantle any type of system. Our UV Dye formula will fluoresce in accordance with EPA guidelines.

Oil dye is used to identify drips and leaks in systems utilizing refrigerants R12, R134a, mineral oil, ester oil or PAG oil. The specially formulated oil dye can be detected with standard ultraviolet (UV) light. For best performance and ease of use refrigerant should be pure (less than 10% water).
