The Elkay LKBG2217SS bottom grid is designed for installation in 18 inch square and 24 inch square stainless steel sinks. This bottom grid prevents scratching and denting of the sink. It is constructed with a trough that houses the drain to stop food particles from washing into the drain and causing blockages. Unlike other grids with shorter troughs, this extended trough design is better at capturing large, hard-to-grind particles, such as small bones, which can catch on the typical short trough and create messy clogs in a sink's drain.

The Elkay EBG2217SS is a 17 gauge stainless steel bottom grid with a beaded edge that fits the LKBG2217SS.
