RANGE STOPS

The Range Stop Assembly helps protect the range from accidental damage and prevents unauthorized baking.

We recommend replacing the range stop with a new one if it's installed after the range is in place. Also, we recommend a range stop on any installation without sides. If the range hood is installed without a sidewall, we recommend that a rear range stop be used for safety reasons.

EconoStat® Range-Mounted Thermostats are pre-assembled with a variety of field selectable range stop mechanisms, including two-, four-, and six-position switches. A range stop mechanism will operate if the temperature in the room rises above or falls below a preselected temperature. The preselect feature allows you to turn your system on at one set temperature and off at another (For example: "OFF" at 70° F and "ON" at 75°F). Range stops can also be adjusted to function as a lockout device, preventing system operation up to 35° F above the selected set point

The range stop is meant to limit the amount of arching from the probe tip when is used in an electromagnetic field. The range stop must be installed between the sensor housing assembly and the sensor probe assembly.

These range stop kits are direct replacement for older units where the original stop mechanisms have been replaced. Includes complete hardware for installation. Warranty: Lifetime

STOP & GO

This is a small hinged bar that is attached to the right side of the oven door. Normally, its swing is restrained by a vertical pin that is set into the outer edge of the oven door frame.
