The Rapid Charger, for M73, with AC adapter (MFG# C-210) lets you charge your ICOM IC-M601, IC-M602, IC-M603 or IC-M901 radio from a 12V dc vehicle power outlet. This two position charger cradle comes with standard DC cord and sotrage bracket. The DC power cord plugs directly into a 12V dc automotive -supplied power port which is typically located in the vehicle center console. While in the cradle, your radio will charge. This accessory is compatible with BC series radios only and cannot be used with previous generation scanners

It will charge the regular capacity battery in just over 4 hours and the high capacity battery in under 9 hours. The Rapid Charger can also be used as a desktop charging cradle without an AC adapter.
