This AST1423-05 jaw is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part that is designed for use with Astro Pneumatic 1423 riveters. This jaw replaces the 1423 OEM jaw AST1423-03 and is a required jaw for compressor operation on your Astro Pneumatic 1423 riveter.

The AS1423-05 Pneumatic Cushion Grip Clamping Head is designed for use with the Astro 1423 and 1443 Ironworkers in place of the standard hand-operated head. The head provides faster, more accurate and easier rivet applications as well as longer tip life. The AST1423-05 acts as as cushion grip head that applies a force of 1500+ psi and a maximum clamp load of 2300 pounds clamping force per inch (.9 MPa).
