The KWIKSET 159RDT-514S is a deadbolt of double cylinder featuring SmartKey technology. The SmartKey padlock can be rekeyed in seconds using a special tool and therefor does not need to be removed from the door for rekeying.

The KWIKSET 159RDT-514S is a standard cylinder lock that has a 1 3/4" (44mm) throw. The faceplate of this lock is a single color, and is silver in appearance. This cylinder will fit deadbolts, doors that attach with the same "bolt work." Typical applications would be for a home or office use, or as a replacement for a lost key.

The KWIKSET 159RDT Residential Deadbolt is the most secure deadbolt available. A steel pin securing the lock body to the faceplate resists racking attacks, while the latchbolt and cylinder are recessed to deter prying. This deadbolt locks on both sides of the door. Spring-loaded re-lockers ensure relocking if unlocked. For use on doors 1-3/8 in to 1-7/16 in (35mm to 35mm) thick.
