The STP Stranded (CM) Cable is a superior quality Cat5e stranded cable. The cable is made of CMR (Riser) rated CM Type PVC insulation and 24 AWG Solid Bare Copper conductors. Monoprice's Pro Series Snagless CAT5e 350Mhz Patch Cable is a CL2 rated, snagless patch cord that is constructed using high quality wire and a shortened body plug for greater ease of use. The Stranded (CM) 24 AWG wire will handle bandwidth intensive applications up to 350 Mhz and beyond. Each of the individual conductors are bonded and 100% inspected before going through a "braid-less" mold process, which reduces cross talk caused by unwanted grounding around the conductor. This cable meets or exceeds the ANSI/TIA 568B.2-1 standard.
