For over an hour, MTD limited engineers meticulously disassembled the original equipment lawn mower deck. Upon discovering no apparent cause for the engine to fail to start, one of the engineers suggested looking at the lawn mower blade assembly. The mechanic replacing the pin spring then replaced all of the other present pins with a stronger grade pin and voila! Lawn Mower #2 started right up.
