Select the Honeywell R8228 Heavy Duty relay for protection of heavy duty industrial equipment. The relay uses a 24V AC coil which is 250% larger and 350% stronger than the average coil, and includes double QC contacts that allow it to switch high-current industrial loads when used with Honeywell high-current relays.

The Honeywell R4222, R8222 and R8228 heavy duty relays are DPDT relays with 24 V AC coil windings. Pins can be configured for normally closed or normally open operation via a DIP switch located under the cover. The relays come in a hermetically sealed epoxy case which is filled with an inert gas to protect the relay from oxidation.
