The Red Dragon is a formidable foe, whether its roar heralds your death or banishment to a lower plane.

The Red Dragon was born from the First World War between houses Liao and Dragan. Its father, a huge broodlord named Shinsei, had no mate and bred with three different houses, ultimately resulting in seven eggs. Four of those eggs were normal but three were tainted by the elemental chaos that spawned them. The three baby red dragons breathed fire for the first time on the day they hatched. The eggshells burst into flames and burned up almost immediately, but the three babies survived unharmed. They grew quickly into gigantic monsters with fire-red scales, enormous wingspans and fanged mouths lined with flaming

From the depths of its lair upon a peak so high that the sun itself seems fearful to cast its light upon it, the Red Dragon watches over its domain. Though it is a veritable god among wyrms and rules its empire with an iron claw, it is not invincible. Brave parties of heroes have ascended to strike at the heart of this fearsome creation but even they tremble in their wake for though they succeeded in bringing its foul head low, they did not return triumphant to bask in the glory of their deeds.

The Red Dragon is a terrible force of destruction that hunts mortal souls. It can sense the breathing of a living creature, and will unleash a fiery blast to wipe out any prey within its reach.

The Red Dragon is a large foe, and a deadly one. It has the Fire subtype, so it deals extra damage against enemies that are vulnerable to fire (which becomes extra vulnerable when it takes fire damage). It has blindsight, which lets it target foes that can't see it. Its impressive 30 foot fly speed ensures that it will be where it wants to be, and lets it make multiple attacks in a turn by flying around allies or enemies.
