The Rheem RTG20006UU Flame Rod is a replacement part for your Rheem Furnace and should be used only when replacing other parts.
RHEEM Flame rods are used in outdoor gas furnaces. Flame rod assembly features a stainless steel flame rod with a 10" sleeve uni-flow mixer tube. Flame rod assembly requires two flame rods, a SS nut, wide band and ball. Rheem flame rod assemblies are also available as factory replacement parts.
A Flame Rod is used in a furnace to ignite the combustion process. The rod can be equipped with a pilot light that will continue to work even after the furnace has been switched off.
The Rheem RTG20006UU Flame Rod controls the flame output of a gas furnace, making sure it goes off when needed most. This Flame Rod has a tube diameter of 5/16" and length of 2.5".
