This automatic slack adjuster release tool is designed for safe and easy operation for car, truck, van and SUV automatic slack adjusters. It will loosen the slack adjuster when tightened on the vehicle's axle. It also comes with a 5/16 wrench for convenience.

A tool you'll reach for again and again! The Lang Tools Automatic Slack Adjuster Release Tool w/ 5/16" Wrench has a dual purpose: to loosen and tighten 3/8" and 1/4" automatic slack adjusters. Includes a 5/16" wrench on the opposite end.

The Kastar Auto Slack Adjuster Release Tool and Wrench breaks through the locking nut and adjustment nut of the automatic slack adjusters. Simply insert the tool into the locknut, turn a quarter turn, and it releases the locking nut from the camshaft. The opposite end of the wrench accepts 5/16" sockets.
