Line Powered Off Hook Ring and Message Waiting Indicator

The LPL-1 is a Line Powered Off Hook Ring and Message Waiting Indicator designed to work with the ANSL-1, MWI-1, and RL-1. The indicator projects a bright visual signal to alert the user of an incoming call. It mounts on a standard 120 or 240 volt receptacle, and plugs into any line phone that does not have its own built in indicator.

The Viking Electronics LPL-1 Line Powered Off Hook Ring with Message Waiting Indicator is designed to provide a convenient method for monitoring off-hook status and message waiting conditions on electronic phone systems. The LPL-1 activates an indicator lamp to indicate line status and message waiting, power ringer or bell indication levels can be adjusted to sound at the desired volume. The message waiting lamp can be set to flash or constant prior to dialing.

The LPL-1 is a basic line powered off hook ring with message waiting indication. It is designed to connect directly inline between the telephone company's central office and the customer's telephone set. The unit has no batteries or internal power source and does not plug directly into the telephone line or have an RJ-11 jack for connecting to the telephone line. This product can be used as a part of an alarm system to indicate when the called number is busy, off hook or when there is a message waiting.
