Line Powered Ringer
The Line Powered Ringer is an economical ringer for residential systems. It draws current from the telephone line and can be used with a range of telephone lines including ADSL, ISDN, and POTS lines. The Viking Telephone Line Powered Ringer consists of a transformer and a ringer. The transformer steps the incoming voltage down to provide a +15V dc supply when the telephone is off-hook. Current drawn by the ringer varies according to its setting, but in normal operation it draws about 0.5 mA at 24 V or about 100 mW with 6 ohm coil resistance.
The LPR-1 is a line powered telephone ringer. Its small size makes it easily portable and it can be connected outdoors as well as indoors. This bell has multiple settings and interfaces with door chimes, surveillance systems and most common central office switch board phones.
