This Baldwin Mortise Door Bolt offers a versatile and flexible means to secure interior doors. The mortise-style door bolt, installed through the doorjamb and visible on the inside edge of the door, is held in place with two 1/4 turn locks. The mortise door bolt from Baldwin is designed for installation by drilling holes in the jamb and working a center point bore to accept the special French tip turning tool.

Baldwin Mortise Door Bolts are mortise or surface mounted to strengthen against forced entry. They should be vertically applied to doors, windows and other exterior openings to prevent forced entry. Two concealed screws are provided on the reverse side. Baldwin hardware assures you of longer and better service than any ordinary case bolt or latch. The ground joints of the 3" (75mm) long bolts prevent the possibility of sawing through the bolt. Easily replaced if damaged by a burglar.
