This Half Spindle 3.375 Broached is a spindle having two hardened steel cutting edges parallel to each other and ground to a perpendicular lead angle. The half spindles have ADF of 4.37° with TIR of .003? maximum, depth of mouth .750? – 1.125?, length of lands at the bottom of the mouth is .457? minimum and .500? maximum, shoulder diameter is .453? minimum and .500? maximum, length of shank is 2.98? long. "This half spindle (0532004) is a Baldwin spindle that has been broached and turned on a lathe. It has a 3-1/4" diameter x 12-1/4" length. This spindle is normally used with our 5 ton, 10 ton, 15 ton and 20 ton log splitter models. Our log splitters require two of these spindles to function properly.
