The 09-611 X L583-375 626 Occupied Occupancy Indicator (AED/PED) is designed for use on doors in schools, hospitals, office buildings and other public facilities that must be locked during normal occupancy to prevent entry by unauthorized persons.

The Schlage Occupied Occupancy Indicator is a brand new product designed to solve the security issues presented when an area needs to be locked while occupied, yet visible to the occupants. This unique rectangular unit allows light to pass both into and out of the room - unlike the typical rotating sign or ad. Complete with an indicator button and battery compartment at the top, this unit can be installed easily and used effectively in a variety of settings.

Schlage's Occupied Occupancy Indicator provides an audible and visual indication when a door is opened in a fire-rated assembly. The visible part contains a disk that rotates from red to green. The audible feature is an Integral UL Listed bell/whistle (30db) with the ability for on or off control. An easy to attach tool free snap on/off flexible mounting kit is included.
