The Schlage 10-078 STRIKE L400 features the quality and security you would expect from a Schlage deadbolt. The L400 uses standard 5 pin keys (not included) not between two and six pin keys like other Schlage products and many brands on the market. The 10-078 has a 1-1/4 inch backset which allows it to work with most standard pre-drilled door holes and also repair doors that have been damaged by locksmiths using incorrect locks.

The Schlage L400 deadbolt is 1-1/4" (32 mm) wide and has a 4-7/8" (124 mm) long backset. It fits doors between 1-3/4" to 2-1/8" thick. The L400 deadbolt meets ANSI Grade 1 standards for durability and acceptable quality levels for locks of residential and low-security applications.
