A deadbolt is a locking device used on exterior doors to prevent entry when the door is locked. This triple option deadbolt features your choice of key-in-knob or electronic keypad, and the convenience of auto-relock feature. The 12-287 609 Deadbolt Triple Options lock fits Lockview B500 only and comes with 2 manual keys and 1 electronic access code.

The 12-287 609 Deadbolt Triple Option features the Schlage Security System, a lifetime mechanical warranty and meets ANSI/BHMA A156.2 standards. This deadbolt also features Auto lock technology and a choice anywhere lever.

The Schlage 12287609 is provided to or purchased by the B500 keypad. It is mounted on the inside of an entry door, allowing the following functions by pressing the appropriate button: top button = unlock lock and enter; bottom button = hold in to lock (bolt will automatically shoot); left button = unlock and relock; right button = cycle through Master Code options.
