With the Weslock Bordeau Premier Deadbolt Handing and 1705U-LH for left handed doors, apply power to the deadbolt lock in the "ON" position. Grasp the top of the key, rotate 180 degrees until it stops and then push down in to the "LOCK" position. After that the deadbolt will rotate out to its locked position.
