-Amana 22" Diameter Venturi Ring (Medium) is for use with all Amana gas and propane ranges (base model series CV, CVG, CVS, CVG, CVT, CVA, CVD, CVA).

Venturi rings, which use the same principle as air horns on vehicles, use greater pressure to push hot gases and smoke up and out of your wood stove. This model is 22" in diameter and fits most common 22"-diameter wood stoves. It comes with a lifetime warranty and should be cleaned or replaced about every five years. Venturi rings fit within a standard 24" to 26" stove pipe. They are designed to increase the velocity of the exhaust from gas appliances, which in turn reduces the effect of drafts and makes for a more draft-free combustion area.

What is a venturi ring? The venturi ring is part of the medium-speed fan. When the fan works, air passes through the wall to the inside of the unit. The area between the cover and the wall contains a number of louvers through which air displaces into this cavity.
