The ANODE-MAG is made of heavy duty brass that is designed to resist rust and corrosion. This product is able to be used in multiple ways, as it can be screwed into a 3/4 NPT pipe and then inserted into the water heater to create a path for the electrons in the water to travel through.

Anodes consume and absorb impurities that occur in water. They are most often used in water heaters, hot water tanks and piping to protect against corrosion and extend their useful life. 3/4 inch NPT with a 47-1/2 inch lead wire is standard with this anode.
