This 3/4 Straight Valve Body is designed to help you stop air flow going through the heating and cooling system circuit when not in use so that even though the thermostat is calling for heat, in the case of a heating system, or for air conditioner operation, the valve will trip in between the line and an exit opening preventing loss of heated or cooled air.

A Screw-in-type 3/4 in. straight valve body (V5061B1020) which can be used to replace most existing 3/4" pipe valves for controlling flow into a heating system, such as a hydronic heating system or a steam boiler system. It is compatible with all major brands of 3/4" thermostatic mixing valves and 3/4" cleanout plugs that are designed to screw onto a standard 3/4 " shutoff valve body.
