The RHEEM 61-106238-34 3/8x3/8 R-22 2.5Ton TXV 30"Cap from Ruud is a 3/8" x 3/8" R-22 two stage thermally protected scroll compressor for air conditioning and heating applications of 2.5 tons, equipped with a 30" water cooled condenser coil. This compressor is manufactured in the USA and is vibration isolated and supplied with a 25 year limited warranty.

Rheem Ruud refrigerant is a universal refrigerant that will work with the Rheem, Rooftop Super Series®, Ruud®, American Standard® and other brands of equipment. This is a 2.5 ton capacity TXV that has 3/8'' fittings and tubing connections. If you are choosing a complete system replacement, please use this TXV in combination with the additional components in our systems; these components are available from us as needed.

Rheem R-22 TXVs are used with 2.5 ton and 5 ton air conditioners, heat pumps, and heat only units. They are designed to operate with HydroWick® wide angle or standard angle reversing valves for balanced systems in hydronic heating applications.

The new transaxle compatible with 2-Stage Rheem, Ruud and many other brands of 2.5 ton thru-the-wall air conditioners. This TXV uses a diaphragm to transfer refrigerant at low pressure between evaporator and condenser coils. The compact diaphragm requires less refrigerant than compressors that use corrugated tubing.

The RUUD 2.5-ton, 2.5-ton TXV air conditioner uses additives to lubricate and remove water from the refrigerant so it will not freeze, collect dirt or rust the system components. Although the RUUD 2.5-ton, 2.5-ton TXV air conditioner is low maintenance, you should still perform regular maintenance such as cleaning condensate drains and filters on a regular basis to protect against potential problems.
