Use this Blocking Ring 36-082 625 with our 3/8" Door and Hardware Sets 24-040, B660250, B260250, B260353, and B260354.

Schlage BLOCKING RINGS and NUTS are the ideal way to block or unblock devices using 3/8 Inch square spindle locks. A BLOCKING RING is designed to prevent rotation and is installed on the lower part of the lock keyway. A special flat-bladed screwdriver must be used to remove the ring. A NUT is used to cut off the upper portion of the lock keyway in order to create a SERRATED LOCK KEYWAY. Each kit contains Schlage BLOCKING RINGs and NUTS that match our popular keyways.

A Blocking Ring provides the surface for a Mortise Cylinder or Latch to capture bolt work or levers in the door.

This product is a locking ring for a 3/8 inch housing. The part locks the stem into the cylinder to be used when the key is turned to lock the door, which keeps it from being opened via a key.
