For the Mylar trimstrips, I just cut down a 1/4' inch nylon rope to 6 inches and it gives that "long winded" look. Glue one side of Mylar strip to pvc cap then glue wired end of Mylar strip on. Use fishing line to hold in uprights while applying epoxy.
