The Carrier 295953 is a replacement furnace control board. It is made to fit Carrier Furnaces with relay sensing.

This Carrier Furnace Relay Sensing Board is an OEM replacement for your furnace. It senses whether there is a call for heat, and if there is not, the blower continues to cycle on and off to prevent moisture from building up in the plenum or motor windings.

Control Boards for Carrier Furnaces come in three varieties: Sense, Limit and Heat. The difference between the Control Boards is what each type controls. There are a total of eight Relays and eight Diodes in the furnace control board, four Relays and four Diodes per section.

The Carrier 295953 furnace control board is designed for use with Carrier's 16, 18, and 20-amp dual stage furnaces. The unit features a sealed relay sensing circuit that senses a wide range of inductive loads.

This item is an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) replacement part. The primary purpose of this product is as a replacement board for Carrier furnaces manufactured before 1997. Oftentimes, a single board can be used in several different brands of furnaces with different configuration of terminal locations and relays.
