The new 16358 FIT test apparatus is a two terminal measurement system allowing for binaural and monaurally coupling using the same equipment. The larger case is to accommodate the addition of the FT-11-FT-11 3M fit test fixture, which is available separately. The 16358 has a large panel of audio level controls that can be accessed from both sides of the unit making it easy to adjust settings while performing active noise reduction measurements. A large knob with locking feature allows the operator to control the volume level at all times during testing.

The D100 test kit is designed to calibrate 3M™ Fit Test Apparatus (FT-11-FT) and the associated A-B fit testing devices. The kit includes the following items: 19238A Restraining Shoes, 16358 Ear Canal Insertion System with two earplugs, one of each earplug is sealed with a nonoccluding tip and the other is sealed with an occluding tip, 16353 Validation Test Kit Otoacoustic Emissions.
