The Carrier® 40RM Series furnace fan motor is designed for use with high-efficiency gas furnaces. Fan motors are categorized by their horsepower (see table). The series designators and frame styles indicate which unit is used with particular model gas furnaces. Each fan shaft also contains spacer/grommets to protect fan wiring from damage.
