Made of durable anodized aluminum (not tin coated), this hot surface igniter is designed to work on older gas oven models that have the electric heaters mounted directly below the oven burner or burners. The long lasting, gasless design is a perfect replacement for the old thermal type igniters that are prone to failure and, potentially, create a dangerous situation. This igniter has the same dimensions and mounting holes as most other brands of hot surface ignition systems.
