The RHEEM High Pressure Limit - Manual Reset Control provides protection from excessive water pressure that can damage boiler equipment. This high pressure cut-out control is field selectable to protect the boiler at either 45 - 50 PSI or 60 - 65 PSI and features a manual reset button for easy operation.

Rheem High Pressure Limit and Manual Reset allows the user to set a high limit stop on all Rheem water heaters. This high-pressure limit is factory set at 210 psi, and can be manually reset to any pressure desired. In addition to safety features that prevent over-pressurization of the system, High Pressure Limit and Manual Reset contains an integral relief valve with 20 lb. internal spring for added protection from sudden system pressure release.

Rheem's High Pressure Limit (HLM) and Manual Reset (MR) valves are designed to disable the water supply when pressures exceed the maximum pressure established by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). The HLM and MR valves, like other pressure relief devices, meet ASSE Standard 1010 for relief of water heaters.

The reset button allows the owner to stop the operation and manually reset the high pressure limit. This is recommended when doing work in front of the boiler during squirrel cage removal/installation, drainage and winterizing.

The Rheem High Pressure Limit Switch features a manual reset for easier installation. A pressure overload protects the unit against permanent damage when an air compressor over-pressurizes or if there is an extreme drop in line pressure.
