The RHEEM 174286 Blower Motor is a 1/2 hp, 120v motor rated at 1075 rpm. It can be used in a number of different blower applications. Rheem outdoor air conditioners, furnaces and heat pumps use a fan blower for the indoor blower assembly. Blowers are available in select Rheem models.

Our blower motor is designed to be the heart of your system. It helps your heating and cooling equipment run seamlessly, efficiently and silently. Blower motors come with mounting hardware, are 120V and 1/2 horsepower (1075 rpm).

The RHEEM 174286 Blower Motor has been designed with a centrifugal-style axial double permanent split capacitor (2P) rotor. It operates on 460 volts, 60 hertz and is rated at 1/2 horsepower and on the following speeds: 1075 rpm forward and reverse.

The Rheem 174286 Blower Motor with 2 Speeds replaces any 1/2 horsepower motor that is 120 volt, single phase and 60 Hz. This blower motor is designed to be a replacement for Rheem brand furnaces only.

When properly installed (and it is properly installed) this blower motor works well. I was so happy with the previous blower that I replaced, that I didn't even bother to compare this blower to the new one. Since I have not yet been able to test the performance of this blower, I still rate it 3 stars.
