The Baldwin 5510031AST is a Strike 1-1/4", Non-Lacquered Brass from our ASA collection. The AST Strike style has all the same great features of the traditional Strike series, but also comes with an adjustable strike for use on doors of varying thicknesses. By simply removing the striker plate, loosening the screws holding the striker back, and rotating the striker to the desired height you can achieve almost effortless operation of your door. Now included in this series is a mounting flange to better grip a wooden frame without need for wood screws or nails and shorter backset strikers are available separately.

This Baldwin ASA strike in polished brass (type 302) is non-lacquered, and comes with a configuration of 1-1/4" x 2-1/2". It is for use on wood doors, and designed for use with Baldwin mortise locks. It features a 5 pin cylinder as well, adding to the security.

The strike features a fail-safe operable through a 3/8" round hole and the mounting screw is included.
