The Baldwin 6001003R 6001 003 RH MORT LOCK 2.75 BS LESS CYLINDER is a locking cylinder that is applicable for use with the Baldwin 600145 mortise lockset. The cylinder must be used in conjunction with a Baldwin Privacy Deadlock (#BALDWIN-EU4800C or BALDWIN-EU4800P) to complete the hardware for use on double doors from 24" to 36" high.

This Baldwin 6001003R 6001 003 RH mort lock is mortised into the face of 1" diameter stile or rail to lock a Baldwin 6001 003 RH deadlatch into its keep when the door is closed.

Nutmeg mortise lock 6001 003 RH mortise lock comes with 1 1/8" (28 mm) backset for 2 3/4" (70 mm) bolt - 2 3/4" (70 mm) bore cylinder; and is made of brass.

Mortise locks have been used for centuries, providing a lock in which a bolt is operated from the side, as opposed to the more common top- or rear-mounted horizontal sliding latchbolt. Mortise locks are usually found in pairs, with one facing the interior and another facing the exterior of the door. This lock uses a mortise cylinder lock and features a 2.75" backset.

A complete mortise lock featuring a keyed from the outside knob and faceplate, lever-operated from the inside, and a cylinder lock with 5/8" round back keyway. Available in right-hand throw.
