Designed for the left-handed user, this Baldwin 6001050L mortise lock is perfect for homes and apartments. The 6001 050 L features a convenient thumbturn that is located on the outswing side of the door to make it easy to unlock when exiting. Features include privacy, or top latch, strike plate and porcelain bushings for compatibility with wooden trim doors. The 6001 050 L is easy to install and has a lifetime mechanical and finish warranty.

Equipped with a 1-3/4" backset, this lock installs easily inside your home or business, holding 2 keys, one on each side of the lock. It also features a finger-lift latch that keeps fingers away from the strike face for added safety. The lock's satin brass finish coordinates nicely with most decors.
This Baldwin® Mortise® and Entrance Lock meets all applicable 3-hour fire rating requirements for ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 residential, ANSI/BHMA Grade 2 commercial applications. The 6001 mortise lock features a satin brass faceplate and black backset. The lock is designed for use on wood doors in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
THE 600 SERIES IS AN ENTRY AND DOOR BRACED LOCK STRUCTURED TO PROTECT THE HOME FROM INTRUSION, VANDALISM AND FIRE. IT HAS A MAX BACKSET OF 2- 3/4" (70mm). The Baldwin Entrance and Apartment Mortise Lock is designed for use on wood doors 3-1/2 in. to 6-3/8 in. thick. The lockbolt throw distance is 1-3/8 in.
