This mortise lock is ideal for use with wood or metal frame doors that meet fire and building codes where a 45 degree outward swing of the door is required. It can be combined with the 6065 190 locking faceplate for ease of installation and aesthetics. Ideal for use in school buildings, airport terminals, hospitals, apartment complexes, etc.

The Baldwin 6 Series Mortise Lock provides a smart alternative when used on exiting doors. The mortise lock is mounted with the lock assembly on the face of the door when installed and cannot be readily removed or picked by drilling out the cylinder. It is available in a 2-3/4" backset and provides multiple exit options including Panic Exit Function, Emergency Exit Function, or Emergency Access Only.
