Baldwin 6075 190 R Mortise Lock for hard-to-reach places. For easier installation, the lock casing and handle are self-centering with U-shaped brackets that fit over a standard 2-3/4" backset. The cylinder, latch bolt, spindle and striker mechanism are all embedded in a solid brass body that is die-cast for extra strength. All locks are made of solid brass and are passed through rigorous testing to ensure maximum durability and product life.
The Baldwin series 6075 mortise lock features an exclusive locking system with a patented deadlocking pilot mechanism. The fully-recessed deadlocking latchbolt is paired with a massive exterior case, which features an ultra secure integral hinge. A special heat-treated door edge design maximizes resistance to drilling and prying.
The Baldwin Satin Black Mortise Entry/Exit Lock, Emergency Egress Lock with 2-3/4" Backset is designed for residential application. It meets current code requirements and features a mortise cylinder and face plate to fit either right or left handed doors.
